Before you get pissed at my lack of taste, click the title. It's a reminder that while this weekend's tsunami disaster was probably the worst incident of its kind in recorded history, it could have been worse!

Kinda tasteless, but I understand the underlying optimism. That's pretty dark tommy even for you. Ultimately if you're dead you're dead its the cost to the living that Sucks. An ELE ( I learned that from Deep Impact) would suck because pretty much everyone would die. But somehow I think this is worse as it leaves so many of us alive feeling so powerless and questioning the meaning of meaning.
Another thing, These fucking disaster movies made me think that original video of the tsunami was nothing special, I was expecting that 300foot of water that took out the statue of liberty. I was finally able to gain perspective after seeing that bulletin board with polaroids of the dead.
